The room on the second floor of the obscure tenement-house seems to be inhabited. Ashtray on the table covered with oilcloth, a TV set by the window, a bed in the middle of the room. And a view to the street from the window. Only benches by the walls indicate, that we're not in a regular flat. Redbad Klijnstra, the director of Made in China (...) has tried to get as close to reality as possible. (...) The illusion is amazing - ordinary lamps instead of theatre reflectors, music sinking from behind the wall, like from a neighbor's flat. Main characters of the play - three young members of the gang - are presented in their natural environment, which authenticates them. Debuting actors with talent presented young people, which identity was shaped by the karate movies, unemployment and city jungle laws: Piotr Łukaszczyk as Kilby, a karate-kid fascinated with violence, Michał Żurawski as Paddy, susceptible to all kind of influence, searching for a reliance in the gang and Jakub Kamieński as Hughie, willing to change his life after his mother death.
