Maria Maj

Maria Maj studied at the National University of Film, Television and Theatre, Łódź, and has been a member of TR Warszawa since 1995.

Her appearances include Witkiewicz’s The Tropical Craze and The Prince Myshkin, both directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna; Hamlet, Euripides’ The Bacchae and Dybbuk, all directed by Krzysztof Warlikowski; Klara’s Relationships, directed by Krystian Lupa; Marc O’Rowe’s Howie and Rookie, directed by Artur Urbański; Iwan Wyrypajew’s Oxygen, directed by Aleksandra Konieczna; Benvolio and Rosalina, based on Romeo and Juliet and directed by Redbad Klijnstra; Jan Klata’s production of his own Cut it Out; Michał Bajer’s War Zone, directed by Natalia Korczakowska, Shoemakers at the Gates, directed by Jan Klata, Dorota Masłowska's We get on well with each other  directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna.

Her film credits include Piotr Trzaskalski’s Edi, Iwona Siekierzyńska’s My Roast Chicken, Jerzy Stuhr’s Tomorrow’sWeather and Łukasz Barczyk’s I’m Looking at You, Mary and Changes.
